I'm a graduate student working in the field of American Studies. Currently I'm writing my dissertation on the ritualization of Mormon history in a transnational context. I also write for an academic Mormon history blog, and I'm interested in digital humanities projects as well as the use of social media and blogging in religious communities. On a personal level, I'm a big fan of blogs and social media sites (Facebook, Tumblr, and yes, Pinterest) and still rue the death of Google Reader.
