I received my Ph.D. in Theological Ethics from Boston College. I teach courses in ethics to undergraduates and doctoral students at Duquesne University. My area of research is in social ethics, with a particular interest in Catholic social thought and economic justice. This interest led to the publication of Rethinking Poverty: Income, Assets, and the Catholic Social Justice Tradition, University of Notre Dame Press, 2010.
